PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase absorption amount of collision energy by a side frame. SOLUTION: This vehicle body frame is provided with the hollow side frame 40 extending in the fore-and-aft direction in a front part or a rear part of a vehicle body. The hollow side frame is composed of a tip part 50 having small buckling strength to absorb collision energy in the forward and backward directions of the vehicle body and a terminal part 60 having large buckling strength to support the tip part. The terminal part is provided with a fragile part 70 capable of buckling and deforming in the direction of tilting for a central line CL in the fore-and-aft direction of the terminal part.
