PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the car height of a traveling machine body above the ground and to reduce the weight. SOLUTION: This traveling lawn mower is composed by liftably and lowerably mounting a rotary mower in a site between front wheels and rear wheels of the traveling machine body 1 supported with the front wheels 2a and 2b and the rear wheels 3a and 3b and equipped with a steering wheel 5 for steering both the front wheels. The traveling machine body is composed of a pair of left and right side frames 1a and 1b and a discharge duct 32 for cut lawn grass is arranged between both the side frames. Stay members 12a and 12b for mutually connecting both the side frames are provided in the site of the steering wheel in the traveling machine body.
