<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail table with a simple structure and an excellent safety by which the shape of a handrail bar can be easily altered temporarily, and parallel bars for gait training using the handrail table. <P>SOLUTION: The handrail table 8 is installed on the parallel bars 1 for gait training to cover the handrail bar 2 from above. The handrail table 8 is made of a rod with a square profile on plane having a width larger than the sectional diameter of the handrail bar 2 and has a structure wherein a recess 8a is made near the central region of the bottom surface and the handrail bar 2 is interdigitated to the recess 8a which is connected to a scramble member 3 installed in the handrail bar 2 through a connecting member 9 having a pin bearing. Thereby, the handrail table 8 which is disposed to cover the handrail bar 2 can be easily detached when unnecessary from the handrail bar 2 by a perpendicular rotation toward the other side of the coupled handrail bar 2 making a shaft member 10 of the connecting member 9 disposed parallel at the outside of the handrail bars 2 as the central axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
