摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for simply manufacturing a liquid crystal (LC) display panel with an LC dripping method. SOLUTION: The manufacturing device is provided with: a seal forming means 21 to form a seal part 2 to enclose an LC 3 on a surface of a first substrate 1 with LC display elements formed thereon; a supporting part forming means 23 to form a supporting part 22 located on the outer peripheral side of the seal part 2, having a height h greater than that of the seal part 2 (h<SB>1</SB><h<SB>2</SB>), and supporting a second substrate 4 with LC display elements formed thereon and to be overlapped on the first substrate 1; an LC dripping means 24 to drip a specified amount of the LC 3 inside the seal part 2; an overlapping means 25 to temporarily overlap the second substrate 4 on the supporting part 22 formed on the first substrate 1; a substrate transport means 26 to support the first substrate 1 side in the temporarily overlapped state and to transport the temporarily overlapped substrates from an atmospheric 200 state into a vacuum forming means 7 situated in a vacuum atmosphere 210; and a pressing means 27 to press the first and second substrates 1, 4 in the vacuum forming means 7 under the vacuum atmosphere 210.
