PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layout check system that accurately checks whether a PCB layout defined by layout data is one enabling effective functions of a bypass capacitor. SOLUTION: The layout check system 1 comprises a data extraction part 121 for extracting, from layout data stored in a storage part 13, pieces of information fundamental to the calculation of a value Z1 corresponding to impedance between a power pin and a power source and a value Z2 corresponding to impedance between the power pin and a bypass capacitor, a calculation part 122 for calculating Z1 and Z2 according to the extracted pieces of information, a determination part 123 for comparing the calculated magnitudes of Z1 and Z2 to determine whether the layout is one enabling effective functions of the bypass capacitor, and an error information output part 124 for outputting error information if the determination part 123 produces a negative determination.
