The floor consists of individual surface-adhering elements which are laminated slabs. A thin compression- and wear-resistant tile (1) is installed on the upper side of the laminated slabs, and below the tile is located a compression-resistant light material layer (4) fastened by adhesive. Connecting elements are provided on the vertical edge faces for connection to adjacent surface-adhering elements. The tile may consist of natural stone, or may consist of glass with a graphic design on its underside and visible from the above. |
