<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passive entry device equipped with a tire pneumatic pressure monitoring function where the entry device is consolidated with a tire pneumatic pressure monitoring device capable of nullifying interference between the devices by using the intra-cabin space effectively. <P>SOLUTION: The passive entry device is composed of an on-board unit 1 mounted in a car, a portable unit 2, and transmitter/receivers 3(1) to 3(4) for monitoring the tire pneumatic pressure, wherein the on-board unit 1 is equipped with a low-frequency signal transmission part 5 to transmit request signals to the portable unit 2 and the transmitter/receivers 3(1) to 3(4), a signal reception part 4 for keyless entry receiving the answer signal in response to the request signal from the portable unit 2, a signal reception part 7 for monitoring the tire pneumatic pressure to receive the answer signal in response to the request signal from the transmitter/receivers 3(1) to 3(4), and a controller 9 to form a request signal, control a door lock mechanism 12 in conformity to the answer signal, and indicate the tire pneumatic pressure information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
