PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer battery high in safety, in productivity, and in reliability while fully demonstrating the characteristics that this is a thin type which a layer type structure intrinsically has, and this is high in latitude of profile, and adaptive to various shapes. SOLUTION: In the polymer battery, a positive electrode 1 of a thin film shape, a polymer electrolyte and a negative electrode 3 retained by a separator 2 are respectively laminated in this order at least by one layer. The whole circumference of the separator 2 and the negative electrode 3 is positioned outside of the circumference except a tab part of the positive electrode 1, and satisfies a relationship that the length D1 from the end of the negative electrode and the end of the positive electrode > the length D2 from the end of the negative electrode and the end of the separator in a part of the circumference of the separator 2 and the negative electrode 3.
