PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assist a user to easily notice a situation where 24-hour ventilation is not being performed, and to provide a ventilator that performs the 24-hour ventilation even if a command for the 24-hour ventilation is not given on purpose. SOLUTION: The ventilator is equipped with a remote controller 30, and with a ventilator body 1 that operates at a command from the remote controller 30. The remote controller 30, when first operated after an operating button B has been reset, can execute the 24-hour ventilation even if the user intentionally fails to give the command therefor, since the ventilator body 1 has a function to output the command signal for executing the 24-hour ventilation that is constantly performed by the ventilator body 1.
