PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate for tongue and groove jointing suitably used for tongue and groove jointing without faults such as floor squeak and lift of a floor board even after the lapse of time. SOLUTION: The plates 1 for tongue and groove jointing are arranged facing on a joist 13 to connect the tongue sidewall side of side end parts 2 in a longitudinal direction, and fixed by bringing a connector 7 into close contact with each side end part 3 on the groove side of the plate 1 for tongue and groove jointing, from the tip of a groove side pressing claw plate part 8, and driving a nail 12 into the joist 13 using a nail hole 11 formed in a base part 10 of the connector 7.
