<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card providing a card surface with no printing distortion and, in a card attached with a rewrite function, with no typing omission. <P>SOLUTION: A sealing layer 18 of an IC chip 17 comprising an antenna module 11 is formed of sealant including filler with mean grain size of not less than 11 μm and not more than 20 μm and volume content of not less than 26% and not more than 30% in epoxy resin. In this case, the surface of an IC mounting part is formed into a flat shape or a shape recessed in the side of the IC chip 17. The dimension of the level difference between the IC mounting part and an IC non-mounting part in the card surface is within 5 μm.
