PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer which can improve the worsened butting state between a discharge face of a head and a wiper blade, and can elongate the use period of time of the wiper blade. SOLUTION: The inkjet printer has the head for discharging ink, and the elastic wiper blade, and is configured to clean the discharge face while the head and the wiper blade relatively move in a state in which the wiper blade butts against the discharge face of the head.
