<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression apparatus capable of reducing pressure required for compression of the waste material. <P>SOLUTION: The waste material dumped into a compression chamber 3 is compressed by a compressing machine 1 attached with a compression plate 1a. Exhaust holes 12 are installed to a compression room 4 composed by the compression chamber 3 and the compression plate 1a, and then air pressure inside the compression room 4 is reduced below the atmospheric pressure by a vacuum pump connected to the exhaust holes 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
