<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional mobile terminal which can be mounted with an additional circuit still in small size when a circuit used for a function not applied to a telephone is additionally provided. <P>SOLUTION: A voice-band codec 20 constituting a telephone function is diverted to the element of a surround effect imparting circuit used for a music reproducing function. In a music reproducing mode, original audio analog signals from a music data storage 42 are delayed and synthesized with original audio to induce a surround effect. At this point, the original audio is delayed by a memory 16 operated in a FIFO mode, the original audio is delayed through a path of ADC 22 to memory16 to DAC 27 and synthesized with the original audio to drive a speaker 60. The memory 16 can be also substituted with a RAM built in a terminal, so that an audio path (circuit 40) is only added for imparting a surround effect. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
