Promoting therapy of parodontopathy, especially paradontitis, by topical application of mometasone furoate to teeth or interdental spaces

In the use of topical glucocorticoids in dental maintenance for improving the effectiveness of therapy of parodontopathy and reducing the risk of side-effects, the glucocorticoid is mometasone furoate (I) at a dose of 10-200 micro-g per tooth or interdental space. Alternatively (I) may be replaced by flucatisone propionate or budesonide.
