<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide protective clothing which not only is excellent in the processability for tailoring it and the workability such as the easiness to move when workers wear it, but also is easy to satisfy conditions of protective functions against radioactive contaminants and a method for manufacturing it. <P>SOLUTION: The protective clothing for work in nuclear facilities is worn by workers when they work in nuclear facilities to prevent them from being exposed to radiation and consists of a base material 10 tailored into a form of the three-dimensional protective clothing 1 which allows workers to move and can be worn by them and an air-tightened material 11 which imparts air-tightness by filling grains of the base material 10 and those of the junctions of it. Such protective clothing for the work in the nuclear facilities is manufactured by being tailored with the base material 10 into the form of the three-dimensional protective clothing 1 which can be worn by workers, applying the air-tightened material 11 to the base material 10 and filling the grains of the base material 10 and those of the junctions of it to impart air-tightness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
