PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized electronic part in which short circuit is not caused between electrodes. SOLUTION: When protective layers are formed to resistors 8, 9 or the like arranged on an insulating substrate 1 for a multiple chip resistor, the protective layer 8 is formed so that not only a section between the electrodes is covered with the protective layer 8 but also parts (the sections of sides) of each of the adjacent electrodes 21 and 23 and electrodes 22 and 24 on the same sides of the resistor are covered. The generation of the short circuit between the electrodes by a solder bridge and a migration is avoided by such a protective layer 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
