PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking film which causes no problem on environmental pollution and no film necking and which is capable of applying to an adherend having a three dimensional curved surface. SOLUTION: The marking film comprises a substrate of an olefin-based resin and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer applied on the one side of the above substrate and is constituted in such a manner that the substrate has a deformability index of at least 0.81 (wherein, the deformability index, being found from a stress-strain curve of the substrate, is a quotient of the minimum stress X<SB>2</SB>appearing firstly since the yield point by the yield point stress X<SB>1</SB>).
