PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scrubbing agent having an excellent feeling of use without imparting an unpleasant skin irritation feeling, a feeling of foreign materials, etc., during use and having excellent scrubbing effects and to provide a skin detergent composition comprising the scrubbing agent. SOLUTION: The scrubbing agent is characterized by comprising carnauba wax. The preferable average particle diameter of the scrubbing agent is 50-1,000μm.
