<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of efficiently dehydrogenating organic hydride and contacting hydrogen to a hydrogen ionization catalyst while maintaining a simple composition in a fuel cell internalizing a process of dehydrogenation reaction or hydrogenation reaction of organic hydride. <P>SOLUTION: It is characterized by that an organic hydride holding part, a dehydrogenation reaction catalyst, and a heater are arranged in a negative electrode side reaction vessel, the organic hydride is dehydrogenated, hydrogen is separated by a hydrogen separation membrane, the hydrogen is ionized by a platinum based catalyst, and the ionized hydrogen is reacted with oxygen ions in a positive electrode side reaction vessel to generate electricity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
