COORDINATE DETECTION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost coordinate detection apparatus capable of being made smaller and being excellent in convenience.

SOLUTION: The coordinate detection apparatus is for calculating the coordinates of a touch point input on a coordinate input face. The apparatus includes a light emitting means 122 disposed in a position in proximity to the coordinate input face for emitting light; an optical element 107 disposed in a position away from the light emitting means 122 for converting incident light from the light emitting means 122 into light spread over the entire coordinate input face; a reflection means 103 for reflecting the light emitted from the light emitting means 122; a light receiving means 126 for receiving the first reflected light reflected by the reflecting means 103 and the second reflected light reflected by the reflecting means 103 and transformed by the optical element 107; and a calculation control means 105 for calculating the coordinates of the touch point according to the directions of the first and second reflected light received by the receiving means 126.
