<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new display device which can be used outdoors in daytime, for example, for a guard fence at a station. <P>SOLUTION: The display device is provided with an optical fiber 2 having a light projecting section 21 at a prescribed portion of the side face and capable of projecting light entering from end faces 22, 23 from the light projecting section 21, a plate type light transmittance body 3 capable of transmitting light, a light emitting body for emitting light toward the end faces 22, 23 of the optical fiber 2, and a support mechanism 5 for supporting the optical fiber 2 along the surface plate direction of the light transmittance body 3, and is so constituted that the light guided from the light emitting body to the end faces 22, 23 of the optical fiber 2 to be projected outside from the light projecting section 21 can be visually recognized with a prescribed meaning. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
