<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement which obviates the need for gauging or like work and determines an connecting cable length appropriate to the target number of revolutions. <P>SOLUTION: A turnable wiring device comprises an inner member 1 and an outer member 2 which are turnable relative to each other. A connecting cable 3 is wound spirally between the inner cylindrical portion 4 of the inner member 1 and the outer cylindrical portion 5 of the outer member 2. The arrangement determines a connecting cable length, with respect to the turnable wiring device. The arrangement determines a target cable length lset, which gives a target number Nset of revolutions of the turnable wiring device from a relational expression. The relational expression represents a number N of the revolutions of the turnable wiring device by an outer wall radius r of the inner cylindrical portion 4, an inner wall radius R of the outer cylindrical portion 5, the connection cable thickness t, and the connection cable length l. Further, the arrangement determines the maximum rotational cable length lmax with which the number N of revolutions is maximized from the relational expression. The arrangement judges whether the sum of the target cable length lset and a predetermined amountδl of tuning is not larger than the maximum rotational cable length lmax, and if the sum is not larger than the rotational cable length lmax, this is taken as the connecting cable length of the turnable wiring device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
