PULSED LASER APPARATUS AND OPTICAL FIBER BUNDLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulsed laser apparatus and an optical fiber bundle capable of efficiently transmitting pulse laser beam of high peak output through transmission path of high flexibility.

SOLUTION: A laser resonator 3 generates pulse laser beam 2. An optical fiber bundle 6 transmits the pulse laser beam 2. The optical fiber bundle 6 has a plurality of strand fibers 13 comprising a core 11 for transmitting the pulse laser beam 2 and a clad 12 enclosing the core 11 bundled. At the end on the incident side of the pulse laser beam 2, the strand fibers 13 are fused together with the close-section shape of the core 11 of the strand hexagonal fiber 13.
