PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deliver plants between carriers of different carrying surfaces without changing the attitude of the plants such as mushroom. SOLUTION: A plant carriage and delivery device to deliver a mushroom A with the attitude thereof maintained to a second carrier 2 having a carrying surface lower than that of a first carrier 1 from a first carrier 1 has a slide plate 3 to receive the mushroom A carried from the first carrier 1 in an advancing manner at the speed higher than the carrying speed of the first carrier 1 and a stopper 7 in which the slide plate 3 is retracted after receiving the mushroom A and retraction of the mushroom A on the slide plate 3 is prevented when the mushroom A is delivered to the carrying surface of the second carrier 2 between the first carrier 1 and the second carrier 2 at a terminal end of the first carrier 1.
