<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marketing system which collects answer data from users of Internet-compatible information terminals as the result of a questionnaire conducted by use of user-specific characters. <P>SOLUTION: A questionnaire for marketing using user-specific characters is delivered to an information terminal owned by each subject of the questionnaire and answers to it are received to select and deliver the next questionnaire. Thus, for categories in which customers are not interested, the questionnaire is canceled to keep the customers from feeling an aversion to it; for categories in which the customers are interested, a more comprehensive and detailed questionnaire is selected and delivered to increase the recovery rate of answers to the questionnaire while filtering the categories of the customers' interests, hobbies and likings. Also, the data collected are used, and as a sales promotion means, advertisements for promoting sales are provided at the time when merchandise belonging to the categories of the customers' interests, hobbies and likings is sold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
