PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paving material capable of being very easily obtained as the paving material used for a sidewalk or the like in a park, and having the excellence in an aspect of durability and decorativeness and also non-reduced workability. SOLUTION: The paving material 10 showing a thin plate-like shape comprises a front surface plate 11 formed of synthetic resin in a flat plate shape, and a concrete-made bottom surface plate 12 that is formed to have a flat plate shape thicker than the front surface plate and is stacked on the bottom surface side of the front surface plate. An engaging section 13 engaging with the concrete-made bottom surface plate is formed on the bottom side of the front surface plate to have a dovetail groove shape or the like, thereby integrally connecting the front surface plate to the bottom surface plate.
