PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescence device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent a light leakage and non-uniform region of light emission by using a shield pattern. CONSTITUTION: An organic electroluminescence device comprises a gate wire(126) and a data wire(148) crossing with each other on a substrate(100) so as to define pixel regions; a switching element(Ts) arranged in the crossing portion between the gate wire and the data wire, wherein the switching element includes a gate electrode, an active layer(112), a source electrode(142), and a drain electrode(146); a driving element including a gate electrode, an active layer(114), a source electrode(150), and a drain electrode(152) contacting the drain electrode of the switching element; a shield pattern(124) branched off from the gate electrode of the driving element and extended in a vertical direction in the vicinity of the data wire; a power wire(130) contacting the drain electrode of the driving element, wherein the power wire is extended in the direction parallel to the gate wire, and has a vertical branch branched off in an upward direction from the shield pattern; a barrier rib(164) arranged on the data wire and a certain part of the shield pattern; a first electrode(158) corresponding to the pixel region; an organic light emitting layer formed on the first electrode; and a second electrode formed on the organic light emitting layer.
