PURPOSE: A method for driving a normal mode in a wide mode LCD is provided to improve the picture quality by preventing a displaying state of lines in a black processing region. CONSTITUTION: A method for driving a normal mode in a wide mode LCD includes an output process, a first latch process, a skip process, a second latch process, and a second skip process. The output process is performed to output an SSP signal. The first latch process is performed to latch pixel data as a target a black process by using a short main clock signal. The first skip process is performed to skip the data latch process at a transition point of a video signal. The second latch process is performed to latch the pixel data corresponding to a normal mode by using the clock signal of a long period. The second skip process is performed to skip the data latch process at the transition point of the video signal.
