PURPOSE: A transflective LCD(liquid crystal display) is provided to easily form a dual color filter and provide optimum color performance. CONSTITUTION: A transflective LCD includes the first and second transparent substrates(130,110) opposite to each other, a lower transparent electrode(134) placed on the first transparent substrate, a passivation layer(138) having a contact hole(136) exposing a part of the lower transparent electrode, and a reflecting layer(140) formed on the passivation layer. The LCD further includes a reflection color filter formed of a stripe buffer pattern, a transmission color filter disposed corresponding to the contact hole, an upper transparent electrode(114) formed on the color filters, and a liquid crystal layer(120) interposed between the upper and lower transparent electrodes. The transmission color filter is thicker than the reflection color filter.
