PURPOSE: An array substrate for a reflection-type LCD device is provided to configure a patterned spacer between spaced areas of reflective electrodes, thereby maintaining cell gaps in stable state and preventing light leakage as realizing a high contrast. CONSTITUTION: Pixel areas(P1,P2) are defined on a substrate(100) in matrix type. Gate lines are extended by passing through one side of an adjacent pixel area. Data lines(118) vertically cross the gate lines, and are extended by passing through other side of the pixel area. The data lines(118) are configured inwardly the pixel areas(P1,P2). A TFT(T) is configured in a crossed section of the gate lines and the data lines(118), and consists of a gate electrode(102), an active layer(110), a source electrode(114), and a drain electrode(116). Reflective electrodes(124) are configured in the pixel areas(P1,P2) as being contacted with the drain electrode(116), and cover all the data lines(118). A patterned spacer(150) is configured by corresponding to spaced areas of the reflective electrodes(124).
