PURPOSE: An apparatus for forming the body of shaped can is provided to reduce manufacturing time of the shaped can to improve productivity by simply expanding the body of the can without additional investment of expensive facility using an ordinary hydraulic system and expanding can mounted on an outer mold without extra transfer process. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a lower plate(2) on which two piece or three piece can is rested; an outer mold(3) in which a space is formed so that the two piece or three piece can rested on the lower plate is inserted into the space, on the inner surface of which an intagliated curved part(30) is formed, and inner diameter of which is larger than outer diameter of the can as much as 0.5 to 1 mm; a hydraulic supply part(4) for supplying hydraulic pressure into the can inserted into the outer mold by hydraulic system; and an axial press(6) for pressing the can expanded by the hydraulic supply part in an axial direction and having a pressing displacement control function at the same time.
