PURPOSE: A driving method and driving device for display device, and a program and recording medium therefor are provided to prevent mismatching of calculated image signals for a display device with good display quality by generating correction image signals. CONSTITUTION: A driving device for a display device includes a current-and-previous field image signal generating member(22) and a driving signal generating member(23). The current-and-previous field image signal generating member generates image signals for a current field and image signals for a previous field. The driving signal generating member generates driving signals, and the driving signals are generated according to the image signals of the current field and modulated according to the image signals of the previous field. The current-and-previous field image signal generating member includes a previous-field interpolating member(32,33) and a current-field interpolating member(31). The previous-field interpolating member interpolates respective lines of the previous field so as to generate image signals of one frame for the previous field. The current-field interpolating member interpolates respective lines of the current field so as to generate image signals of one frame for the current field. The driving signal generating member modulates the driving signals of the respective pixels by referring to the image signals for generating driving signals of the respective pixels among the image signals of the previous field.
