OPTICAL INTERFERENCE COLOR DISPLAY AND AN OPTICAL INTERFERENCE MODULATOR, PARTICULARLY CONCERNED WITH HAVING SINGLE AIR GAP AND COLOR FILTERING FILM DESIGN

PURPOSE: An optical interference color display and an optical interference modulator are provided to enable all optical interference modulators to have the same air gap thickness, such that the optical interference modulators can be simultaneously manufactured, thereby omitting some processes while lowering a production cost. CONSTITUTION: A color filtering substrate(210) is comprised. Supportive layers(220) are patterned on the color filtering substrate(210). Plural first electrodes(230) are deposited on the color filtering substrate(210). Plural optical films(240) are deposited on each of the first electrodes(230). Plural second electrodes(250) are deposited on each of the first electrodes(230). The second electrodes(250) are supported by the patterned supportive layers(220), and air gaps having the same thickness in each pair of the second electrodes(250) and the first electrodes(230) are formed.
