PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to prevent the laundry from being twisted by changing rotary motions of a motor into wobbling motions of a washing plate and to remove unbalance for a dewatering shaft rotating at high speed by holding the horizontal position of the washing plate in a dewatering process. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine is composed of an outer tub fixed in a body; an inner tub(120) rotatively installed to the outer tub; a dewatering shaft(150) combined to the lower side of the inner tub with passing through the outer tub; a washing shaft(140) mounted in the dewatering shaft to penetrate the lower side of the inner and outer tubs; a driving motor for transmitting rotary power in forward and reverse directions for the washing shaft; a washing plate(500) disposed in the inner tub; a swirl-type guide(170) arranged to the upper section of the washing plate; a spherical joint(300) supported by the inner tub to spherically roll; and a diagonal shaft(200) of which the upper end is connected to the washing plate with passing through the spherical joint and the lower end is positioned in the swirl-type guide. |
