OPERATION PANEL LIGHTING APPARATUS OF MOBILE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: An operation panel lighting apparatus of a mobile terminal is provided to enhance light irradiation efficiency by employing a method for directly lighting a key pad or navigation keys. CONSTITUTION: An LED receives power from a printed circuit board installed in a terminal body. A light collecting hat is connected to the LED to collect light. A cover lens(3) is installed at a certain portion of a front panel of a terminal body and makes light irradiated from the light collecting hat spread toward at least one selected portion of a number key or a navigation key. The cover lens(3) is installed at the center of a lower end portion of an LCD(11a) of a folder part(11). When the folder part(11) is opened, the navigation key(13) part and the number key(13) part are irradiated.
