PURPOSE: A method for responding to e-mail by using a mobile communication terminal is provided to retrieve a telephone number of an originator by using an e-mail address of the originator if a receiver cannot respond to e-mail of the originator, and to deliver a pre-registered voice to the originator, thereby smoothly performing communication between the originator and the receiver. CONSTITUTION: If e-mail is received, a system transmits an e-mail address of an e-mail originator to a mobile communication terminal of a receiver through a wireless mobile communication network(SP1). The mobile communication terminal of the receiver retrieves a telephone directory with the e-mail address of the originator(SP2). If a telephone number registered in the telephone directory exists, the mobile communication terminal delivers a pre-registered voice to the telephone number(SP4,SP5). If the telephone number registered in the telephone directory does not exist, the mobile communication terminal of the receiver transmits pre-registered mail to the originator(SP6-SP8). |
