PURPOSE: An elastic tent pole is provided to execute expansion and contraction of tent poles easily. CONSTITUTION: The elastic tent pole comprises the steps of fixing the lower part of an auxiliary pipe(3) provided with a pin hole(6) and a compressing part(7) to the upper part of a large-diameter pipe(1) and the upper part of an auxiliary pipe(3) to the outside of a small-diameter pipe(2) flexibly, installing a pin(8) to expose higher than the pin hole(6) of the auxiliary pipe(3) when expanding the small-diameter pipe(2) from the large-diameter pipe(1), and installing an L-shaped bar(9) on the top of a small-diameter pipe.
