PURPOSE: An IP-keyphone system having a security function is provided to install a video camera for security and an alarm detector in a desired place, in order to inform a manager of situations in real time, and to provide the manager with video data in accordance with alarmed situations. Thus, the manager who is in a remote area can perceive situations generated in an area in which the IP-keyphone system is installed. CONSTITUTION: An IP-keyphone system(100) comprises as follows. A USB camera(107) for security is comprised. An alarm detector(106) has an alarm detection function. A USB port(105) transmits video data in accordance with alarmed situations detected by the USB camera(107) to a CPU(103) in real time. An alarm controller(104) notifies the CPU(103) of the alarmed situations. A non-volatile memory stores the video data in accordance with the alarmed situations transmitted from the USB camera(107) and the alarm detector(106). The CPU(103) operates the USB camera(107) in the alarmed situations, stores the video data transmitted from the USB port(105) in the non-volatile memory, and notifies a manager of the alarmed situations.
