PURPOSE: A tooth whitening patch composed of a tooth adhesion layer containing an erodible polymer complex and a tooth whitening component, and an erosion control layer containing a hydrophilic polymer and a film-forming polymer is provided. It is hydrated and eroded by moisture in the mouth when adhered to the teeth, has excellent whitening effect and reduces a foreign body sensation. CONSTITUTION: The tooth whitening patch is composed of: a tooth adhesion layer(1) containing an erodible polymer complex and a tooth whitening component; and an erosion control layer(2) containing a mixture of hydroxypropyl cellulose and (meth)acrylic acid copolymers. The erodible polymer complex contains: a polymer containing carboxyl groups(-COOH) selected from the group consisting of polyacrylic acid, polymethacrylic acid, (meth)acrylic acid, (meth)acrylic acid(Eudragit L, Eudragit S, Kollicoat P), poly alkyl vinyl ether-maleic acid copolymers, alginic acid and hyaluronic acid; and a polymer containing a carbonyl group(-C=O) or an ether group(-O-) selected from the group consisting of polypropylene oxide-polyethylene oxide copolymers.
