PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently convert the rotation of a rotating shaft into the linear motion without enlarging a device and increasing the cost, and to adjust an inclination angle of a driven shaft with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This linear drive actuator comprises the rotating shaft 3 as an input shaft, and a needle bearing 20 kept into contact with an outside diameter face of the rotating shaft 4 in a rolling state, having a plurality of needles 6 as the driven shafts respectively having an axis inclined to an axis of the rotating shaft 4, and assembled in the rotating shaft 4. The skew of the needles 6 are generated by the rotation of the rotating shaft 4, whereby the needle bearing 20, consequently, a housing 10 are axially moved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
