<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a toner recovery member to efficiently recover toner remaining on the toner carrier of a developing device, an image carrier, an intermediate belt, etc., in an image forming apparatus such as a copying machine or a printer. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus uses, as the toner recovery member 1, one in which at least its surface is made of a melamine foamed body or one in which a roller portion 1b made of a melamine foamed body is disposed on the outer periphery of a rotary shaft 1a.
