PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently read an electrostatic latent image out in a solid-state radiation detector equipped with a substripe electrode and a conductive member. SOLUTION: A first conductive layer 21, a photoconductive layer 22 for recording, a charge transfer layer 23, a photoconductive layer 24 for reading, a 2nd conductive layer 25, etc., are arranged in this order, and microplates 28 holding latent image electric charges at the same potential are provided at an interface between the photoconductive layer 22 for recording and the charge transfer layer 23 by pixels of a latent image to constitute the solid-state radiation detector. Here, the solid-state radiation detector 20 is so configured that R≤d×t/(ε<SB>r</SB>×ε<SB>0</SB>×L<SP>2</SP>)×10<SP>-4</SP>, where R(Ω) is the sheet resistance of a microplate 28, L(cm) its a maximum length, d(cm) the thickness of the photoconductive layer 24 for reading,ε<SB>r</SB>(F/cm) its specific dielectric constant,ε<SB>0</SB>(F/cm) the specific dielectric constant of a vcuum, and t(sec) a read time per pixel.
