PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further increase usability of a storage type seat device for a vehicle in relation to storage work by improving the seat device. SOLUTION: In the seat device 22, a rod 43 for folding a leg part 71 by interlocking with flip-up at the time of storing the seat device 22 into a rear part side wall 24 is provided bridging the leg part 71 and the lower part of the rear part side wall 24, and a gas spring 44 for reducing an operation force at the time of flip-up is provided bridging a lower part of a seat cushion 27 and the lower part of the rear part side wall 24. The gas spring 44 makes it possible to flip up the seat device 22 with a small operation force and to reduce a load on a worker involved in storing the seat device 22. In addition, since the rod 43 makes it possible to fold the leg part 71 interlocking with the flip-up at the time of flipping up the seat device 22, the necessity of manually folding the leg part 71 is eliminated and the storage work can be simplified.
