PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head which can suppress residual vibration of pressure waves for stabilizing ink discharge also in high-speed printing, and at the same time, which is easy to manufacture, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The inkjet head has a base member 1 formed so that a plurality of channel grooves 4 extend in a fore-and-aft direction to be separated by channel walls 3 which include a piezoelectric material, a cover member 2i arranged to be opposite to the base member, and electrodes 5 arranged at least a part of inner faces of the channel grooves 4. Moreover, the inkjet head has, between a front end and a rear end, a first region where the cover member 2i is bonded via a silica filler 14 as a spacer member to the base member 1, and a second region where the cover member 2i is opposed via a gap specified by the silica filler 14 to the base member 1.
