PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tufting mat made of polyester that is suitable as an artificial lawn or a mat, with good productivity, lightweight, with high water-resisting property and flexibility, and with good recycling efficiency and drainage. SOLUTION: The tufting mat made of polyester forms a pile cloth with tufted pile fabric made of polyester on a primary base cloth made of cloth-like element made of polyester. An heated and fused external joint polyester sheet is attached to the back of the pile cloth by using air pressure by which the external joint polyester sheet is diluted along the uneven surface made by the pile thread and substantially sticks all over the back surface of the pile cloth to fix the pile thread.
