PURPOSE: A backlight unit, an assembling method thereof and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) by using the same are provided to manufacture easily them by improving the structure that a ground electrode of the backlight lamp is soldered to a PWB(Printed Wire Board). CONSTITUTION: Hot electrodes of a lamp assembly(510a) are received to a lamp holder and a connector and ground electrodes thereof are received and soldered to electrode inserting grooves(521a) of the PWB(520). The PWB(520) have lamp inserting holes corresponding to the number of lamps. The ground electrodes of each lamp are connected with each other and connected to a separate inverter circuit. Lamp supporters(530,560) fix plural lamps(510a-510n) arranged to a bottom chassis(540) so that the lamps are not moved and broken by an external impact.
