The support (3) has two surfaces respectively for external (22) and internal support (23), which are turned against each other, while applying torsion to an elastic link (13) between an axle (1) and a chassis of a vehicle. A lower and upper face of respective stoppers (19,20) are turned against each other on the chassis to assure blocking of the support with respect to the chassis. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) an axle for a vehicle (b) a method of mounting an axle on a chassis of a vehicle.
