PURPOSE: A recording method of a recording reproduction device is provided to exactly read a current recording location and a next recording location on a recording medium such as a CD-R/RW(Compact Disc-Readable/Rewritable), thereby improving recording quality of the recording medium. CONSTITUTION: A recording reproduction device initializes a microcomputer and chips(S12), and ignites the microcomputer and the chips(S13), then automatically controls the ignited microcomputer and the chips(S14). The device performs a lead-in reading process(S15), and checks an RF signal as changing a TMAX detection resolution PLCK(Playback Clock Signal)(S22). The device holds a PLL(S23). The device checks the RF signal again(S24), and cancels the held PLL(S25). The device checks a synchronization as reading a PMA(Program Memory Area)(S26). The device checks a lead-out function, and pauses(S32).
