<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake system of a vehicle which offsets a brake hydraulic pressure generation device relative to a brake pedal in the vehicle width direction, disposes it at the rear part of the vehicle body, and can largely secure a crush margin of the front part of the vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: The brake system is provided with a drive shaft 20 taking out turning force of the brake pedal 11 and a driven shaft 21 operating the brake hydraulic pressure generation device 12 by inputting the turning force of the drive shaft 20 between the brake pedal 11 and the brake hydraulic pressure generation device 12. The brake system offsets the brake hydraulic pressure generation device 12 relative to the brake pedal 11 in the vehicle width direction, and disposes it to be able to expand the crush margin of the front part of the vehicle body due to a front face collision by eliminating the brake hydraulic pressure generation device 12 at the front part of the vehicle body of the brake pedal 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
